I am the Operations Manager for the Finishing & Shipping department at Evergreen Packaging’s Pine Bluff Mill. We recently had a mill outage in April 2007, during which we used Ricon Inc. on three critical structure repairs to our roll processing equipment. Ricon did an excellent job. They followed all safety rules to the letter. They successfully completed all prescribed work and all additional work on time and on budget. I would highly recommended them to anyone who wants the job done right, and done right the first time. They are the best I’ve seen at both planning and execution.

In regards to: Utilities Outages
Dear Mr. Risinger:
I just wanted to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to you and all of your employees. As you are well aware the Utilities outage this past year was very lengthy due to the fact of the boiler work. This extra time however did extend our facility time to perform inspection and discovery that might not otherwise been found until machinery was back in operation.

The fact is, you can not plan for the completely unknown, and you have to be able to manage discovery jobs as they arise. I have come to rely on your company for a large percentage of discovery type work. RICON has been flexible enough and able to supply the additional manpower and equipment to accommodate our needs. This eliminates a large burden on not only me as planner but our whole maintenance team.

I have worked with many contractor firms over my 30 year career as a maintenance person, some are dependable and others are questionable. My experience with RICON has been right there at the top of the list. I know that if RICON is awarded the job, I have very little to be concerned with on that particular job. Your superintendents and foremen are top notch folks as well as your craft hands. Your employees are without a doubt the friendliest and courteous group I have had the pleasure to work with. Also over the years, I don’t recall any safety incidents on my jobs.

We look forward to many more years of a mutually beneficial relationship with RICON.
